SEO Packages

It’s rarely a case of fitting you into a bronze/silver/gold package but it helps us determine your budget, goal and expectations. Please treat these packages as guides as we’ll always assess your requirements and develop something just for you.

One important aspect to realise is that we always divide your SEO budget between our time and third party costs. The latter usually means paying for quality links, but not always. Effective SEO sometimes means thinking outside of the box so whereas our costs are fixed month to month your “links/other costs” budget can vary. On each package we have a recommended amount for an effective strategy but if you have more/less budget then please let us know.

This is our recommended minimum for an effective SEO campaign. At this level we would be targeting approximately 1-3 core keywords with around 5-10 long tail targets hanging off the back of each of those. This isn’t a hard and fast rule and if you’d prefer to focus on a particular keyword we’d often be able to accommodate, but generally speaking a little diversity in what we’re targeting is a good thing. Too much focus on one aspect and we risk an “over optimisation” penalty where it becomes obvious we’re trying to artificially inflate our rankings.

At this level we’d likely be working towards 2-3 broader search terms with more traffic potential or to be going for 5-10 narrower keywords. Once again there’d almost inevitably be long tail terms tagging onto the end of these search terms. This package is primarily aimed at clients:

  • With a good ongoing marketing budget
  • With a need to move quickly (new product / innovation / time-precious)
  • In a competitive search space

At this level we’d be targeting 1-2 keyword terms in highly competitive markets. These are markets where a first page / top 3 ranking can produce a 6-7 figure income ”Caribbean cruises”, “London taxis” and “Physiotherapy” are some examples in this sector.

Expectations

Expectations

We usually advise clients to expect some traction/improvements around the 6 month mark. Traffic gains will be steady and significant ranking improvements will be noted around month 9-12. Top 3 results or #1 spot can be hard to predict but during months 2-4 we will have a better indication of time frames.
