Apiary is the control plane, dedicated to Spotlight Studios clients, that our team uses to look after every domain, hosting account and mailbox we manage. Before Apiary, a routine job like a DNS change, a cache purge or a pre-update backup meant juggling five different provider dashboards: Cloudflare, Cloudways, the domain registrar and two email platforms. Now it’s one screen, one audited action:

• Faster turnaround. DNS edits, cache and Varnish purges, SSH access windows and backups all run from a single console, so “can you just…” requests get done in minutes, not ticket queues.
• Safety built in. Every change passes through one gated write path with permission checks and rate limits, and higher-risk operations stay locked to senior staff. Backups are surfaced right next to the actions that need them, so nothing destructive happens without a restore point.
